William Irish is a percussionist, producer, and educator based in the Philadelphia area. He is currently pursuing a Master's of Music in Percussion Performance at the University of Delaware, where he studies with Gene Koshinski and Tim Broscious and is a member of the select graduate fellowship ensemble, UD Graduate Percussion Group.  William has also studied with Pius Cheung, Eriko Daimo, Johan Bridger, and Keiko Abe.  Alongside percussionist Keegan Vaughan, he co-founded the Ivy Percussion Duo.  Most recently, the

Ivy Percussion Duo won first prize in the Duo Category of the 2026 Great Plains International Marimba Competition.  Additionally, they were awarded as finalists in the 2026 Italy Percussive Arts Society "Percussive Arts Web Contest."

 

William offers private instruction in all levels of classical percussion, marching percussion, and drum set, as well as audio recording services.
